The most beautiful part is the Carpathian Mountains dominating the centre of Romania.
Carpathian Mountains have fourteen mountain ranges reaching above the altitude of 2000 m. Carpathian Alps are very rich in national parks, small lakes, mineral springs, evidences of volcanic activity.

Because of the several ethnic minorities Romania is one of the most colourful countries in Europe. Romanians make up 89,5% of the population. Beside Romanians there are Hungarian, Roma and Russian minorities.
The most important towns are in Transilvania: Oradea, Cluj Napoca, Târgu Mureş, Odorheiu Secuiesc, Miercurea Ciuc. The Transilvanian German-speaking Saxons left seven Saxon towns with fortified churches. Most of them are listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites just like the beautiful painted medieaval churches of Nothern Moldavia or the small wooden churches of Maramures.

Our office is in the hearth of Transilvania at the East-Carpathian Mountains in the small but well known town Vlahiţa.

Romania is the land of traditions. For children and families we hold every summer program ’Week of The Old Traditions and Jobs’ (mostly in July). During the week we meet local masters who introduce the local traditions, teach us painting furniture, weaving baskets, twisting rope, making felt, making rings and other objets of horsehair. The masters introduce also the technique of the coppersmith’s work.
In the heart of Transilvania use to live Huns. We will demonstrate how to set up a yurta and how to fight with the old weapons of the Huns, too. During the ’Week of The Old Traditions and Jobs’ we will organize excursion in the neighbourhood of Vlahiţa. The excursions are different every year.
